Post-doc Research Fellow Positions at the Institute for Research on Children, Youth and Family
Masaryk University, Brno, the Czech Republic is accepting applications for two Post-Doctoral Research Fellow positions
for up to three years, beginning September 1, 2012 (or later). The successful candidate will work at well established Institute for Research on Children, Youth and Family, Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University - website
The fellow will lead an independent research and will also collaborate in ongoing projects. He/she should teach one or two courses per semester, but his/her main focus will be on carrying out research. The ideal research background should be in social or developmental psychology or media studies.
The first post-doctoral position is targeted specifically to applicants with strong expertise in the field of psychosocial research on internet and cyberspace (including online risks for children and adolescents, addictive online behavior, online relationships and sexuality in the virtual environment).
The second post-doctoral position is targeted to applicants with strong expertise in the field of psychosocial development of adolescents and young (emerging) adults (including topics such as self, identity, personal autonomy, interpersonal relationships, civic and political participation).
The Post-Doctoral Research Fellow is offered a salary 50 000 - 55 000 CZK per month, which in Czech conditions, covers very reasonable housing and any other expenses one might have.
