As part of the Faculty Day held on 8 April 2025, a questionnaire survey focusing on sustainability at the Faculty of Social Studies was officially launched. Sustainability is currently one of the key themes supported by Masaryk University, which has its own strategy, Sustainable MU 2025–2028
The aim of the faculty survey is to gather input and suggestions for specific measures that could be incorporated into the upcoming Sustainability Strategy of the Faculty of Social Studies for 2026–2028. The questionnaire focuses on four main areas: sustainable teaching and education, sustainable research and doctoral studies, sustainability in internal culture and societal engagement, and a sustainable institution.
The questionnaire can be completed anonymously online in both Czech and English. Completing the survey will take approximately 5–10 minutes and can be submitted no later than 30 April 2025.
The results of the survey will be presented on 6 May 2025, from 10:00 to 11:30, in the FSS meeting room 2.11. The information will then be used in the development of the strategy and communicated to the entire faculty community.

What new initiatives will sustainability bring to FSS? Starting in 2026, FSS MUNI will implement a new Sustainability Strategy. The goal of the Sustainability Working Group was to ensure that the strategy goes beyond mere words and focuses above all on practical solutions that will have a tangible impact on everyday life at the faculty.
Close relationships are a natural part of human life – they also arise in academia, where people meet while studying, working, and conducting research. While many of them enrich the university environment, others can lead to difficult situations and conflicts of interest.
