The survey was open to all students and staff. There were 314 completed questionnaires in Czech and 20 in English - and each of them is of value to the emerging faculty strategy. The results of the survey were presented on May 6, and now a detailed analysis is underway, based on which we will prepare the detailed steps of the strategy over the holidays, which will be presented to the faculty leadership in the fall.
It may seem to you that sustainability is ‘something extra.’ But it is the simple steps, working sensibly and thinking about the impact on our environment that can bring about a better environment for work, study and everyday life for all of us. Sustainability isn't just about ecology - it's also about how we feel about faculty, how we communicate with each other, and how we use resources efficiently.
The Faculty's strategy will be inspired by the MU Sustainability Strategy 2025-2028, which is based on four pillars: Teaching and Learning, Research and Doctoral Studies, Internal Culture and Social Action, and Sustainable Institutions. This version of the goals will reflect the specificities and needs of our faculty as well.
Ongoing information on further developments can also be found in the sustainability tab on the faculty website. With your help, we look forward to creating an environment in which we feel comfortable - and that will make sense to others coming up.
