Awarded students from FSS presented their bachelor theses at the I. A. Bláha Conference
On Friday, October 13th, the second annual I. A. Bláha Conference was held in the aula. The award-winning students presented their theses to their younger peers to show that research is an integral part of studying at university.

The I. A. Bláha Conference is aimed at high school students and this is the second time it has been presented in this format. This year, the FSS auditorium was filled not only with Brno‘s college preparatory schools but also with interested students from Velehrad and Uherské Hradiště. In three thematic blocks, they listened to presentations from most of the study programs and gained insight into the diversity that the Faculty can offer and not just in the fields of the social sciences. The presentations were accompanied by introductory speeches by faculty members, whom we would like to thank for their inspiring contributions.
For the award-winning presenters, the conference was an opportunity to introduce their work to a younger audience, while for the attendees it was often their first exposure to the conference format. Name tags and coffee breaks enhanced the whole conference atmosphere perfectly.
