Since the spring semester of 2023, the faculty has been providing complimentary menstrual products in all women’s restrooms. The initiative aims to enhance the comfort of both female students and female employees while fostering an open and supportive environment. The annual cost of the program amounts to nearly CZK 100,000.
In 2025, we were able to cover 90% of these expenses through in-kind material donations secured as part of a pilot partnership with the Kotex brand. The collaboration was facilitated by the company On-Spot, which is now conducting a brief cross-university survey among higher education institutions in the Czech Republic.

As part of the GACR 2027 call, the Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University submitted a total of 50 project proposals across five grant schemes. The highest level of activity was recorded in the Standard Projects category, where 44 proposals were submitted.
