Looking back at the 2021 Day of Open Doors
On January 22 and 23, 2021, the Day of Open Doors (DOD) took place at the Faculty of Social Studies, being organized online for the first time through the ZOOM platform. Already on the eve of the event, applicants had the opportunity to look in on the faculty premises through a live stream tour via the event's Facebook page.
The main DOD program consisted of two parts – presentation of the study programs and information about the admission procedure and an After Party, which could be attended by the departments and student associations operating at FSS. Four associations contributed to this: STUDEX.TV and MUNI TV, Zvol si info (select your info), Fakespace and Radio R. The departments prepared for the students the Sociological and Anthropological Café, Alice Masaryk Café and the Après-ski bar of the Department of International Relations and European Studies.
On the day of the event, 1,635 individual users visited the DOD website, 85% of which were from the Czech Republic. On Friday, January 22, the FSS website was visited by 954 users; on Saturday there were 681, also quite successful.
