Open Day: From Students to Students
Have you wanted a chance to see the faculty's premises in person and at the same time get a lot of information about the study programs on offer? After this year's Open Day, those interested in studying at FSS MUNI can check this off their list as a completed task.
Thanks to our students, visitors to the Open Day were given a first-hand introduction to all eleven Bachelor's degree programs in Czech and the three taught in English. Questions were often asked about possible career options, and subjects taught, but also about student life or the availability of housing in Brno. Each program conceived the representation of its own work differently. In some, the participants could browse through the obligatory literature, while in others, sweet treats caught their attention. But in all of them, they were able to find out what it is like to study a given field and what the coursework entails.
The Study Department was also present, providing practical information throughout the day, especially about the admissions process, which was the most frequently asked question by applicants. In addition, the library and the bistro in the basement of the faculty were open for the duration of the event, so prospective students could enjoy the atmosphere of the faculty along with almost everything it includes.
