The Academic Senate Has a New Composition

A total of 160 members voted in the election for the academic chamber, meaning that more than 83 % of the eligible voters exercised their right to vote. In the students’ chamber election, the Information System recorded 1,216 votes, representing a turnout of nearly one-third.

The voting period ended on Thursday, October 16, at 9:00 a.m., when it was possible to vote for candidates to both chambers of the Academic Senate of FSS at Masaryk University.

Elected to the academic staff’s chamber:

• Kateřina Fridrichová (Department of International Relations and European Studies)
• Alena Macková (Department of Media Studies and Journalism)
• Karel Stibral (Department of Environmental Studies)
• Oldřich Krpec (Department of International Relations and European Studies)
• Zdeňka Dohnalová (Department of Social Policy and Social Work)
