What experiences make you a great ambassador?
Ambassador is a very responsible position, and with over two years of active involvement in FSS, I feel confident in my ability to support and guide others. I’ve gained valuable experience through academic projects, student events, and peer collaboration, all of which have prepared me to help new students feel welcomed and informed. I understand that starting university can be overwhelming, so I’m always here to lend a hand, answer questions, and share what I’ve learned along the way.
What advice would you give to new students?
Nothing outside of your comfort zone is ever easy and studying abroad is no exception. If you’re reading this, my biggest advice is to be proud of yourself. You’ve already taken a huge step by choosing to shape your future at one of the best universities in Europe. There will be moments of uncertainty, and you might hear “no” more than once but push through the doubts and the fear. Growth comes from those challenges. Trust yourself, stay open to new experiences, and keep going. Your future self will thank you for every bit of courage you show now.
What do you love most about Brno?
Honestly, everything. After studying at three universities, I can confidently say that MUNI was the best choice. Brno is incredibly diverse and lively, yet not as overwhelming or crowded as Prague. It's also much more affordable, which makes student life easier and more enjoyable. With a bit of effort and an open mind, your experience in Brno will quickly turn into something unforgettable.
