What experiences make you a great ambassador?

I have been in Brno for more than a year now and I believe I have a good understanding of how the university operates and I am more than happy to share my information with the coming students. Meanwhile, as a student from a third-country national in the Czech Republic, I am very familiar with the problems that you might face if you are also from a non-EU country. So, I would be glad to help you with all the immigration and administrative stuff. I was in your position before coming here, therefore I have gathered what you needed. Do not hesitate to contact me with all of your questions, I will reply to you ASAP.

What advice would you give to new students?

First of all, familiarize yourself with the university information system (IS) since everything is happening there and you need it until the last day of your study.  Then, try to formulate your personal study plan for the semester and always seek advice from upper-year students or your study advisors when there are ambiguities.

What do you love most about Brno?

Coming from a city with a ten million population, the first thing I loved about Brno was the calmness of the city. Besides that, it is truly an international student city and you get to meet a lot of people your age. The other good thing about Brno for me is the size and location of the city. You have almost everything you need just a few minutes walking distances or a few tram/bus stops away. Meanwhile, it is located in the heart of Europe and making traveling cheaper and easier. The last point for me, are the libraries in the city. Where ever you live, there is a nice and comfortable library close to you for studying and working.
