The Autumn 2026 Orientation Week welcomed new degree students from 38 countries and new exchange students from 83 universities to the Faculty of Social Studies, helping them prepare for the start of the academic year. The program began with a university-wide welcome at the Faculty of Law, where new students were introduced to life at Masaryk University. Presentations were delivered by the Office for International Relations, and a welcome speech was given by the Vice-Dean for Internationalization and Student Affairs.
On the second day, students were welcomed at the Faculty of Social Studies, where they met program guarantors, student ambassadors, and faculty staff, and took part in guided tours of the faculty led by student ambassadors.
Through a combination of information sessions and social activities, students gained valuable insights into their studies and had the opportunity to connect with their new classmates before classes began.
Many activities, organized in cooperation with the Erasmus Student Network, took place at various locations across Brno.
