Despite the less-than-ideal weather, many international full-degree and Erasmus students joined the Faculty of Social Studies for a memorable hike around Brno Lake to Veveří Castle on October 26, 2024. The 8.5 km trek, which took approximately 2.5-3 hours, brought everyone together to enjoy the scenic route. With a manageable elevation gain of only 200 meters, the group reached the halfway point at Veveří Castle, where they had time to relax, enjoy some food and drinks, and explore the historic site. Afterward, they took a ferry boat back. It was a wonderful day of adventure and camaraderie, showcasing the beautiful surroundings of Brno.
On December 11, 2024, our students gathered to celebrate Czech Christmas, an event hosted by the International Office. They enjoyed decorating gingerbread cookies and creating their own Christmas cards, immersing themselves in the festive spirit.

The Press Attaché, as the official Embassy spokesperson, handles inquiries from the media on U.S. policy positions.
