On Thursday, May 14th, we gathered at the historic Špilberk Castle for a festive barbecue — a delightful way for our students to mark the end of the academic year and celebrate the conclusion of classes in a relaxed and scenic setting.
This memorable event was made possible through the collaboration of several teams, including the International Office, the Office for Research and Project Support, and the enthusiastic support of our international students. Their combined efforts ensured a welcoming and joyful atmosphere for all attendees.
Participants had the chance to enjoy a variety of Czech specialties. Among the highlights was hermelín, a traditional Czech cheese served with cranberry sauce, accompanied by fresh bread, sausages, and a colorful assortment of vegetables — including deliciously grilled asparagus. We also made sure to include vegan options to cater to different dietary preferences.
