The Faculty of Social Studies was not only a time for celebrating Faculty Day last week, but also for hosting the second Masaryk University Staff Training Week (MUST Week) organized by FSS from 20- 24 April 2026.
Building on the experience of the previous edition, the event was prepared by the International Relations Office in cooperation with the Research and Project Support Office.
Over the course of five days, we had the pleasure of welcoming colleagues from ten universities representing eight countries including Spain, Portugal, Romania, Ukraine, Latvia, Germany, Poland and Slovakia. The professional programme featured roundtable discussions aimed at exchanging best practices in key areas for Erasmus+ programs, degree programs for international students alongside thematic workshops focusing on grant opportunities, mobility schemes, and institutional support.
The week also included a rich social programme, offering participants guided tours of the city, the faculty, library and training facilities of the Department of Media Studies and Journalism, a visit to SIMU , and an afternoon walk through Brno.
We are already excited about what the next edition will bring!
Representatives from Masaryk University’s Faculty of Social Studies visited Unicamp’s Institute of Economics (Brazil) to share experiences and strengthen cooperation in research support, project management, and international collaboration.
The Faculty of Social Studies marked Erasmus Days 2025 with an event highlighting a wide array of international study and internship opportunities for its students. Attendees also gained valuable insights from FSS students who recently studied abroad, sharing their experiences and practical tips.
