Behavioural Interviewing

The May days at FSS were full of educational days not only for students but also for academic staff. As part of the implementation of the HR Award action plan, training sessions were conducted under the title Behavioural Interviewing.

The trainer Mgr. Barbora Bělová from TLC, s. r. o., led four groups of a total of 37 academics and their representatives in learning interviewing techniques in the selection process for various academic positions, using specific examples. These techniques focus on situations from the candidate's work history and thus better reveal the strengths and weaknesses of candidates for the advertised position.

From start to finish, a well-conducted interview is a useful tool in the selection process for choosing the best candidate for the job. Then all that remains is to verify the required documents and attachments that are necessary for the offered position. I wish all departments and research units at the FSS the best of luck in expanding their teams and finding suitable colleagues internationally.
