Welcome day at FSS

In September, we welcomed 15 new employees who have become an important part of our faculty. These talented individuals come from the Czech Republic as well as from various distant parts of the world greatly enriching multiple departments, including Department of Sociology, Department of Media Studies and Journalism, Department of Social Policy and Social Work, Department of International Relations and European Studies, The Psychology Research Institute and Office for Studies.

Continuing the HR Award process

In April 2023, we successfully completed the first phase of implementation of our HR Award FSS MU Action Plan and submitted a self-assessment and revised action plan according to the certification conditions to the European Commission HR Excellence in Research.

Behavioural Interviewing

The May days at FSS were full of educational days not only for students but also for academic staff. As part of the implementation of the HR Award action plan, training sessions were conducted under the title Behavioural Interviewing.

The Faculty of Social Studies at MU has been awarded the HR Award

Our faculty has received the HR Award certification which the European Commission gives to research institutions that are pushing towards an international and transparent work environment in line with international science trends (HRS4R).
