„This year we have decided to point out and appreciate the results of projects, which move forward, about which we thought that it is not possible to do it,“ said a chairman of TA ČR Petr Konvalinka. The prize-winning solvers of winning projects have been given a glass statuette made by a Czech designer Lukáš Jabůrek.
The psychodiagnostic application Invenio, which is able to reveal talented children, has won apart from a total competition in the category of Society. The application is focused on cognitive abilities but even on extra-intellectual skills of children on first degrees of elementary schools. System consists of several tests which are given as easy entertaining games. According to professionals, children are more motivated and are not so stressed. The results of testing can be more accurate in their point of view. The system is focused on logical concluding, spatial abilities, speed of information processing and socio-emotional deficits. It enables to map a total profile of pupils and their strong and weak sides.
„The children, who do not develop their potential, they will become atrophied, socio-emotional problems will be developed in them, they do not establish the relationship to education, and this is a big damage for the whole society,“ said Šárka Portešová from INPSY and the Department of psychology FSS MU.
