The Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University warmly invites prospective students for the 2025/2026 academic year to its Open Day, which will take place on Friday, January 17, 2025.

Bachelor and Master programs and meeting with current students

In the faculty atrium, representatives from the study programs, all current students, will be available throughout the entire Open Day. Visit their information booths to ask them anything you want to know about studying. You can also speak with the International Office ( room 1.14), the Career Center, or gather useful information about studying abroad.

How to reach us

The Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University is located in the very center of Brno at Joštova 218/10, near Česká Street. A great landmark to guide you is the Jan Amos Comenius Church, also known as the Red Church, which is right next to the faculty and easily visible from afar.

By public transport

You can conveniently reach us by taking a true Brno tram. Most routes stop at the Česká stop, which is just a few minutes’ walk from the faculty. Tickets can be purchased via SMS or paid with a card directly on board.

On foot
You can also walk to us. From the main train or bus station, it’s only a 15-minute walk, and you can even stop by one of Brno’s many cafés along the way.

By car
Coming by car? Be prepared for paid parking and designated parking zones. You can pay for parking at meters, via SMS, or through a mobile app. You can find parking locations, meters, and pricing information here.
