Residence and employment after graduation for non-EU foreigners

Students who successfully graduate from a Czech University (Masaryk University) have ‘free access to the labour market’ in the Czech Republic – but what does this mean for your visa status? The Brno Expat Centre, with its legal expert, will host a workshop for FSS students who wish to better understand how to apply for the “Seeking Employment Visa” or in general how to apply for an “Employment Card” after graduation. During this workshop they will also go over the legal requirements for working on a student visa, and why it is important that your studies remain the primary purpose in the Czech Republic.
The workshop will take place on Zoom to allow students to ask questions on 13 May at 14:00.
