Favorite place(s) in Brno

Brno is a city full of amazing and interesting place both sights and insides!!

5. The fifth most favourite place in Brno of mine is Prehrada (lake). It has absolutely incredible beauty of nature in which you can take a long walk or run around. Moreover, it has a few public barbecue places which you can use if it is free anytime and enjoy nice meal looking at the sunset over river. It also has a possibility to take a boat trip to the Veveri castle.

4. Number 4 would be St Peter and Paul’s cathedral located right in the center of the city. It is a gorgeous gothic cathedral which opens up for visiting on certain days of the week. Not only itself it is a historical landmark but also has a cozy park and a viewpoint, from which most of Brno can be seen.

3. Number 3 would be the cafes of Brno. Brno is rich in cafes where you not only can get a great meal or coffee but also study. Such coffee places with great food that also have good and calm study atmosphere are Podnebi, Bavard, Uggo, Podnik and Starbucks located right in the center of the city.

2. Number 2 comes Komarov Park. It has opportunities for different sports to be played- climbing, football, volleyball, rugby, American football and even swimming. I enjoy running there in the evening to the stables with animals, taking a coffee break there and enjoy a workout on one of numerous playgrounds in the park.

1. The best and most favourite part of Brno for me is the Spilberk castle, It is full of medieval history and ancient rooms which allow you to grasp the history of the region. It has a beautiful view on the city which can be enjoyed under a fluffy blanket with a cup of tea or coffee.
