I have been struggling on studying from for a long time since at home I have my all devices turned on and flat mates around, so I can got distracted easily. In order to be productive and avoid procrastination, I usually go to cafes or libraries to study in a quite places where also plenty of people studying. Seeing all students around me studying and being productive, always inspires and motivates me to keep pushing the limits and working on my projects.
So, I have a proper list of places to go in order to study out of home.
- Masaryk University
First and foremost, I should mention MUNI since it offers a proper facility for students to study besides classrooms. Atrium and library of FSS are good examples of places where you can work without any distraction. But if we would go out of the faculty and walk around for 700 meters, we would find ourselves in a brand-new building of Faculty of Arts. The library of this faculty is the best library I have been so far with all necessary facilities (and even a kitchen). Moreover, just there FF has a reading room which is, in fact, a good café with cheap vegan sweets and comfortable chairs where you can even lie down.
Yes, I could not write this blog without mentioning the Starbucks. The one at nám. Svobody has extremely comfy chairs and spectacular view to the square. Studying there you can feel yourself a true Starbucks girl even if you are a boy.
- Podnik café
The places offers the best breakfasts in Brno and good playlist to study.
- Atlas Café
just behind the faculty with a calm, warm lights and good cacao. I usually study there when I have time gaps between classes since it is close to faculty.
It a is a relatively new place where you can study during the day and party at night.
- Šestá větev
The place is also close to FSS and has proper vegan sweets to eat during writing the thesis as I do often there.
This place has an outstanding cafe, very interesting interior and plenty of plants that helps to focus during the studies.
