What experiences make you a great ambassador?

As an ambassador, I find my experience fulfilling and gratifying. I help prospective students with their application process and answer their questions about documentation and life in Brno. I share my experiences with them and offer advice on how to be better prepared for the initial tasks and formalities. I am happy to assist students with their queries, and I aim to make their transition to MUNI as smooth as possible.

What advice would you give to new students?

Starting a new life in a foreign country can be intimidating, but don't worry, Brno is a welcoming city. My advice to all new students is to enjoy your first few days here, explore the city, and make new friends. Don't be afraid to ask questions to your teachers, faculty staff, classmates, or colleagues. Attend all the new student events and go on the Faculty hike. Talking to people and making new friends will help you settle in and make your transition to a new place much smoother. And feel free to ask me any questions on my email or my LinkedIn. What do you love most about Brno?

I love Brno! It's such a cool student city that's perfect for exploring by foot or public transport. The best part? Everything you need is within walking distance! And if you're a vegan, you're in luck because there are so many amazing cafes and restaurants on every other street. Believe me, it's a beautiful city that's not overcrowded with tourists, so you can enjoy a peaceful time here. I love that I can just sit in peace in one of many beautiful parks and forests around the city. It's my home now, and I feel safe and comfortable living here. Plus, it's so easy to travel around - you can be in a different country in just 2 hours! So say goodbye to boring weekends and hello to endless adventure!
