On 28 April 2025, the Department of Social Policy and Social Work spent an inspiring day with colleagues from the Department of Business Administration at the School of Culture and Society, Dalarna University in Sweden.
Both teams presented their current research activities and explored possibilities for future research collaboration. They also shared information about their study programs and discussed the challenges they face in teaching.
As part of the visit, the student ambassadors, in cooperation with the International Relations Office, prepared a guided tour of the Faculty of Social Studies. During the tour, guests were introduced to the history and stories behind key spaces in the building, including the atrium and teaching facilities, offering a deeper understanding of how the faculty’s environment supports academic and student life.
Additionally, Laura, one of our international students, conducted an interview with a member of the Swedish delegation, providing insight into their impressions and reflections on the visit. The interview and a full article documenting the event are available on the faculty website.
Students were also introduced to opportunities for studying at Dalarna University through the Erasmus+ program, highlighting possibilities for international exchange and collaboration.

Representatives from Masaryk University’s Faculty of Social Studies visited Unicamp’s Institute of Economics (Brazil) to share experiences and strengthen cooperation in research support, project management, and international collaboration.
The Faculty of Social Studies marked Erasmus Days 2025 with an event highlighting a wide array of international study and internship opportunities for its students. Attendees also gained valuable insights from FSS students who recently studied abroad, sharing their experiences and practical tips.
