Masaryk University representatives visited Unicamp’s Institute of Economics to exchange experiences in research support

On October 8, 2025, the Institute of Economics (IE) at Unicamp welcomed representatives from Masaryk University, Faculty of Social Studies (Czech Republic), for an exchange of experiences in the field of research support. The visit was organized in cooperation with Unicamp’s Executive Directorate for International Relations (DERI).

The Czech delegates, Jitka Wolfová and Jitka Hotárková, were received by Professor Célio Hiratuka, Director of the Institute, and Camila Ventura, supervisor of the Researcher Support Office (EAIP/IE). The meeting included presentations on the main activities carried out by both institutions to strengthen research collaboration.

The discussions covered support services for researchers, project management, cooperation agreements, and the use of information systems. Despite differences in organizational structures, both sides identified many shared practices and opportunities for cooperation.

The visit was part of a week-long program (October 6–10) featuring campus tours, technical meetings, and discussion sessions. Its main objective was to strengthen international cooperation and expand academic collaboration between Masaryk University and Unicamp.
