FSS has new study program in Contemporary History as well as new entrance exams
Czech students can apply for a new Bachelor's degree program for the first time from November this year. Changes have also been made to the admissions procedure for Bachelor's degree programs in the Czech language.

For the 2024/2025 academic year, the faculty is launching a Contemporary History program in the Department of Political Science. The course offers students a pathway to seek answers to questions about the recent past and to uncover and understand the specific contexts that influence the world we live in.
Changes have also been made to the admissions procedure for Bachelor's degree programs in the Czech language. Applicants will now take the entrance exam only in the form of the SCIO's test of social science fundamentals. The TSP or other SCIO tests will no longer be required at FSS. This applies to all applications for the Bachelor's degree at FSS except for the single-subject Psychology study plan (PSY01) and the Psychology major study plan (PSY02). Applications for the Bachelor's degree program will be accepted from early November through the end of February.
