Science and research programs at FSS celebrate success
Take a look at the successes FSS achieved in the science and research fields at the turn of the year. Scientists as well as Ph.D. students scored well. Congratulations to all of them!
The Czech Science Foundation (GAČR) 2023 competition: we scored big
We achieved extraordinary success in the GACR 2023 competition. We received support for a total of 14 projects (1 Expro, 12 Standard, 1 Lead Agency projects) with a total value of approximately 77.6 million CZK. The department of sociology racked up the most projects (8 projects). Our success rate in the Standard Grants competition was 44.4% (the highest success rate in the history of the FSS), while for MUNI as a whole it was 25.2%. In the Standard Projects competition, we ranked second among all MUNI faculties/departments with 12 supported projects (Faculty of Science: 22, CEITEC / FSS: 12, Faculty of Arts: 10, Faculty of Medicine: 5). It's great that our researchers' ideas succeeded in such a competitive field. Congratulations!
