In April, the Faculty of Social Studies held three discussion on the war in Ukraine and the reaction and responses of Europe and the world. The first of these discussions were on International Relations, Economics, and Energy Security.

Special admissions run for refugees from Ukraine

As part of our assistance to refugees from Ukraine, we have created a special admissions run. This run is designed for both applicants applying for the first years and for those who have already completed part of their studies at their universities in Ukraine. Applications can be submitted electronically between 15 April 2022 and 31 May 2022. The application fee is waived. The application may be submitted by citizens of Ukraine who have been granted temporary protection in the Czech Republic under the provisions of Sections 2 and 3 of Act No. 65/2022 Coll.

On 25 October Masaryk University traffic-light system to turn green

Due to the deteriorating COVID-19 situation, the MU Emergency Committee has decided to move to the green level of the traffic-light system. New measures will go into effect on 25 October.

The Electoral Commission accepted candidacies for elections to the Academic Senate of the FSS MU for 14 persons to the Chamber of Academic Staff and 15 persons to the Chamber of Students. Academic staff and FSS students can vote for the AS FSS MU from October 11, 2021 8:00 to October 14, 2021 9:00.
