Mongolic languages and limits of religious influences

| Popis | Success of Mongolic expansion and Pax Mongolica were partly supported by famous religious tolerance of the Mongols. But regarding broader context, also previous Inner Asian polities had flexible attitude to religion which influenced their growth or decline. This paper intended to investigate the limits of these influences and impacts. In the first part, historical development and main religious interferences of Mongolic and neighboring communities were outlined. In the second part, supportive concept of linguo-religious complexes was mentioned together with environmental and economic factors. These wider settings and description of later development are helping to understand the limits of religious influences on Mongolic groups and other Inner Asian polities. |
