Citace
Popis The chapter deals with the topic of the position of president in Slovakia. The text shows that Slovak presidents tried to overstep their formal competencies but this never led to a complex strengthening of their role. This might have been caused by the fact that the presidents did not seek more personal power but their attempts to interfere were primarily caused by the existing political situation. The chapter concludes that the position of Slovak president might change in case that a strong political person would be elected for this office.
