| Popis | For several decades, the territory of Ogaden in Ethiopia has witnessed bloody fights between various groups that claimed control over this region throughout history. The authors analyze in this study the sources of incompatibility of the goals of the main actors, the escalatory event that resulted in an open conflict, attempts at internal and external mediation and their success, and last but not least, also the progress of de-escalation of the conflict. The study reached the conclusion that also the domestic conflict over the status of the Ogaden province follows logics that is common for most armed conflicts. |
